Makis Hotel - Skala (Kefalonia)

Really comfy beach beds and super friendly staff. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and tavernas. The landscaping was beautiful and well kept too. Rooms were basic but recently refurbed, so everything felt clean and modern.

The room decor was pretty basic and could use datin. Breakfast was not great, same stuff every day and the toast situation was kinda annoying with long waits.

The room was well-equipped with a lovely bathroom.

The hotel was lovely small and the location was particularly good and incredible adjacent to all the shops & restaurants as well as Makis. I was offered a room with lovely views of the sea. The pool was lovely and I had cold drinks in the poolside bar. In fact, there was a free parking on site...

Chur, bro! The location was sweet as, heaps close to the beach. But the breakfast could've done with more hot options and our shower went cold a few times.

Room decor feels dated!!! The steep stairs to the room can be a hassle, especially with luggage or for those with mobility issues!!! Lighting in the room is stylish but not functional enough for reading.

Location was excellent, just a short stroll to the beach and town. The staff were friendly and always willing to help, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere. The rooms were basic and in need of some modernization, with a few cleanliness issues that could definitely use improvement.

The location was ideal, just steps from the beach and a short 5-minute walk to town. The pool area was clean and relaxing, with excellent service from the staff who catered to my every need during my solo trip.

The staff were friendly and were really good too assist us. The pool area was well maintained. The room had a nice sea view which added a touch of tranquility to our stay. The beach access was fantastic, just a short walk away.

We stayed in a triple room with a sea view, and honestly, the rooms were really nice and comfortable. They looked clean and updated but there were definitely moments we wished the mattresses were a little softer. The hot water was a major issue. We had cold showers way too many times . It was a mix of good vibes with the room itself and some frustrating moments with the amenities.

Great match for a trip in Skala with very nice value for money. The pool area was very well maintained. Try to get to breakfast early to avoid the wait for cooked items.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, really going above and beyond for us. The hotel is beautifully maintained, and it's just a short walk to the beach, where we enjoyed great service for food and drinks. Such a lovely spot!

The beautiful skala beach was only around 700 meters away. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Here, recently renovated rooms feature modern amenities such as a laptop safe, iron, and tea/coffee making facilities, ensuring a comfortable stay in a fantastic location.
